Mountain View, Calif. – September 8, 2011 – MATRIXX Software, developer of the next generation of online charging and subscriber policy management solutions, today announces it has been named as one of VentureWire's FASTech 50 most innovative start-ups. MATRIXX Software was selected from a list of 1,000 venture-backed companies by the editors of Dow Jones VentureWire and a board of leading venture capitalists.
Entry into the FASTech 50 validates MATRIXX Software's game-changing real-time charging proposition and its flagship product, the MATRIXX Charging Engine 1000. Communications Service Providers (CSPs) who utilize MATRIXX Software's solutions can expect to drive innovative, real-time subscriber relationships while dramatically lowering their costs associated with the explosion in mobile data traffic growth.
"Venture capitalists are always searching for start-ups that are developing truly original technology with the potential to transform the marketplace," said Scott Austin, editor of Dow Jones VentureWire. "The FASTech 50 cuts through the clutter of me-too start-ups to highlight companies developing the most innovative and investment-worthy technologies."
The VentureWire FASTech 50 is an annual list of technology start-ups which are selected as deserving special interest from investors. The theme of this year's list was innovation, and to be eligible, companies must be based in the U.S., be venture-backed and also have launched a product within the last three years that breaks from conventional methods, introduces a novel technology or markedly advances an existing product or service.
"Entry into the VentureWire FASTech 50 adds to growing market recognition that MATRIXX Software has an industry leading solution that makes real-time charging and rating both affordable and effective," said Founder and CEO, Dave Labuda. "It singles out the MATRIXX Software proposition as the clear path forward for CSPs to keep pace with growing consumer demand for a highly personalized mobile broadband experience."
Dave Labuda will present at the Dow Jones FASTech Conference, Nov. 8-9 in Redwood City, Calif.
