Mountain View, CA, June 2, 2011 – MATRIXX Software, developer of the next generation of online charging and subscriber policy management solutions, today announces it will lead a panel debate session on cloud charging at the B/OSS Live! event in Washington, D.C. at 3pm on 06/15. MATRIXX Software has also been named a finalist in this year's B/OSS Live! Excellence awards in the 'Innovator of the Year' category.
The panel session, titled "Innovations in Charging and Billing for the Cloud, in the Cloud," will discuss how cloud service providers can successfully rate, charge and bill for cloud services and will include participants from Infosys, Aria Systems, and the Telecoms Research Institute. Attendees will learn how service providers can transform billing from cost centers to profit centers, how they can support enterprise billing functionality for cloud services, and what changes the growing cloud space can expect in monetization of services in the future.
"Cloud service providers have a number of challenges to overcome before the market can achieve its potential," said Dave Labuda, Founder and CEO, MATRIXX Software. "We'll be discussing why they must be able to track computing resource usage in real-time, create flexible and dynamic pricing, and also develop real-time enterprise customer support capabilities."
The panel session will take place in National Harbor room 5, on level 3 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, Washington, D.C. between 3pm and 3.45pm. Dave Labuda will also be available to answer one-on-one questions directly after the panel.
